Studio Gu provides design services in architecture and technical expertise in building facade. Founded by Jean Gu, the practice focuses on creating architecture that is beautiful, functional, and contextual through sensible design and building techniques.

Jean has 10 years of professional experience focused on architecture and building technology. She has worked with the offices of Heintges Associates, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, Stantec, and Gensler. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in the United States, where she received William Kinne Fellowship and Foundation Renzo Piano Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from University of Waterloo in Canada, where she received President’s Scholarship and Ontario Association of Architects Award. Jean is a licensed Architect in New York State.
